Leveraging his proven track record working with two of the country’s most prestigious healthcare systems, Freedman advises Real Time on advanced care collaboration between health systems and their post-acute networks to improve transitions of care, enhance population health, reduce total cost of care, and achieve post-acute interoperability.

He has worked in the healthcare industry for 50 years, including executive leadership roles as President and CEO of Mount Sinai Hospital and most notably as Philadelphia’s longest-serving health system president and CEO at Einstein Healthcare Network. During his nearly five-decade career, Freedman oversaw rehabilitation facilities, outpatient centers, several expansion projects, hospital acquisitions, and construction of two new hospitals.

Renowned for his proven leadership and innovative strategic approach to healthcare management, Freedman was recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as a Top CEO to Know and was named CEO of the Year by Philadelphia Business Journal.  He has served on the Board of Directors with leading healthcare organizations including the Greater New York Hospital Association, Hospital Association of Pennsylvania, The Healthcare Institute, America’s Essential Hospitals, and Premier, Inc., among others.

He has a Master of Business Administration from City University of New York/Baruch College, Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin.
