Michael Wylie

Senior Advisor, Post-Acute Care

Recognized for his operational expertise and patient advocacy, Wylie has more than 40 years of experience in the long-term and post-acute care (LTPAC) industry, managing day-to-day operations and providing executive oversight for multiple facilities.  With first-hand knowledge of the complexities LTPAC operators face today, his invaluable insights help drive Real Time’s post-acute solutions to address some of their most pressing concerns to improve clinical outcomes, meet regulatory requirements, ease administrative burdens, and demonstrate value to their acute care partners.

Starting his long-term care career as an activities director 40 years ago, Wylie found his calling as an advocate for staff and residents alike. He earned several promotions before joining Genesis HealthCare in 1986 where he has held critical operational and development positions such as Senior Administrator and Regional Director of Operations in addition to his current role as Vice President of Development.

He was elected Chairman of the Board of Governors of the American Health Care Association (2017-2019) and remains an Executive Committee Member today. He is also the current PAC Chairman of the Pennsylvania Health Care Association, an association he has worked with for 30 years.

Wylie attended St. Francis College and Montgomery County Community College and is licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator both in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.
